A SMALL CHURCH WITH A BIG MISSION

Pastor Jim

Jim Hardenbrook was ordained in 1973 and has served congregations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Alaska.  Since 2008 he has worked with five congregations in an interim capacity.

While serving Nampa (ID) Church of the Brethren, Jim was active in community and denominational concerns having helped found Healthy Families Nampa (a faith-based coalition dedicated to healthy families and responsible fatherhood), serving as the Church of the Brethren Annual Conference Moderator (2005), interim director of the Sudan Initiative and Idaho House of Representative Chaplain for 11 years (1996-2006).

Jim and Pam (his wife of 45 years) have three grown children who live in Virginia, Alaska and Missouri.  He enjoys fly fishing, gardening, building, reading, traveling to see their children and grandchildren and enjoying their cabin in Alaska’s Interior.
