A SMALL CHURCH WITH A BIG MISSION

Sunday School

Adult Sunday School Class
Our current study is "The Call" by Adam Hamilton.
Lead by Letha Essinger, we meets at 10:30 each Sunday following our fellowship coffee time.

Currently there are two Children's Sunday school classes for the young people of our church.  Leslie Ward is leading a class for elementary school children and Holly Hutchinson is working with the Middle school children.

Leslie and Holly had the Sunday School Kids choose, from among these ten UMCOR projects, which one to support with their 2018-2019 Sunday School offering. After a few minutes of good talk and two rounds of voting, the children selected the Z.O.E. Project, working with children in Africa who have been orphaned by HIV and civil war.  Z.O.E. not only provides food and shelter for these orphans, but trains them toward survival as adults, offering life skill training, academic education, communication skills, leadership training, and giving them direction.

So much suffering in this world! How great to be part of a denomination with a global focus on humanitarian aid.
