A Small Church With a Big Mission.
Our worship services at Fruitland First UMC have more of an "informal" feel than "high church", yet we know that worship is a time we direct praise and honor toward God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We strive to keep the small, interactive, worship character filled with love, joy and respect, while maintaining  holiness in our music, prayer times and messages.

Our music is one of our greatest gifts. Most Sundays, except summer, we have a very good choir providing inspirational music. Our music minister, Jim Essinger is a trained and accomplished musician, soloist, and guitar player, and provides worship through his wonderful music.
Our organist and pianist, J. Sherwin Wilson, is a professional accompanist at Albertson College in Caldwell, Idaho, and provides beautiful music through his keyboard talents.

During worship we try to blend the best of familiar traditional hymns with more modern using a combination of organ, piano, and guitar. In fact we have developed a good blend of hymn music with organ and guitar music together.
